Description Technical Specs Extended Information   Reliant is a unique fungicide with curative and protective activity against many pathogens of agricultural, nursery, greenhouse, landscape ornamentals, turf and lawns. It is quickly absorbed by plant foliage and roots and is distributed systemically throughout the plant. Once inside it turns on the natural defense mechanisms of the plant to resist invasion by disease causing pathogens. If diseases are already present it helps the plant to kill the pathogen invaders by curative activity while protecting new growth. What does Reliant control? The liquid formulation easily mixes with water. The product should not be tank mixed with most adjuvants, surfactants, stickers, or copper compounds. When spraying before or after copper compounds an interval of 10 or more days between applications is recommended. Do not spray Reliant if there are obvious copper residues present. Tank mixing fungicides DACONIL® or CONCORDE ™is compatible. A compatibility test should first be conducted for fertilizers and other products before tank mixing. Reliant is registered for use on various agricultural crops, golf courses, turf farms, ornamentals, and lawns. Both EPA and Cal EPA registered, #83416-1. It is also registered in most States. Reliant with Pentra-Bark surfactant is the approved combination for control of Sudden Oak Death. Biorational Reliant was approved by the Biopesticide Division of E.P.A. as a biorational fungicide. It has minimal impact on the environment. There is little concern for public exposure to surface residues because active ingredients readily disappear into plant tissues. Even though low risk, normal precautions should be followed by the applicator since the product is high in soluble phosphite salts. Do not spray bodies of water or where runoff may occur.
